Don’t miss this incredible opportunity! A 3-day Master Class series with Broadway star (and YAE and NPHS alum) SARA JEAN FORD (Phantom of the Opera—Christine Daae, Cats—Jellylorum, How to Succeed…—Smitty). In this intimate class, participants will have the opportunity to perform and then work with Ms. Ford one-on-one to improve style, technique, and performance quality. Classes will include acting/ improv exercises, text/lyric analysis, and vocal interpretation. The class series will end with a very informal “showing” for parents and guardians as well as a Q&A session with Ms. Ford. Class meets Monday 4/10 and Tuesdays 4/11 11:30-2:30pm, and Wednesday 4/12 5-8pm (final showing). Required supplies for this class: · Please bring SHEET MUSIC for several options of songs with at least two already well-prepared. You will probably only work on one, but you never know. An accompanist will be provided. · Dress comfortably and ready to work. That means sturdy shoes and movable clothes. This is an acting class, you never know if you're going to have to get on the ground and roll around. Feel and look like your best self!
